PENMOL
(Paracetamol I.V. Infusion 1.0gm./100ml)

Packaging information:
Paracetamol 10mg/ml. solution of infusion is available in 100ml glass vial.
One 100ml. glass vial contains 1g of paracetamol. The solution is clear to slightly yellowish.

Painkilling medicine used to relieve mild to moderate pain fever by intravenous route.

Dosage and administration

Penmol 10 mg/ml. solution for infusion should not be mixed with other Medicinal products.

Dosage
Adult
Paracetamol 1g per administration i.e. one 100ml bottle upto four times a day. The minimum interval between each administration must be 4 hours in patients without hepatic or renal impairment. In patients with renal and of hepatic impairment the minimum interval between doses must be less than 6 hours.

The maximum daily dose from all sources of paracetamol must not exceed 4g.

Geriatric
No dosage adjustment is required in elderly subjects.

Precautions:
Should be used with caution in case of:

• hepatocellular insufficiency
• server renal insufficiency
• chronicalcoholism
• chronic malnutrition (low reserve of hepatic glutathione) dehydration.
